I couldn’t agree more with Niki Cheapskate over at Cheapalicious that collar necklaces are all the rage this season. (Check out her Nifty Under $50 section, she’s got some great picks!) These beaded or metal collar necklaces simulate a shirt collar or are a full band that can be worn under a collared shirt for that extra touch. This is yet another 80′s spin off of the metal collar necklace, a kind of morph of an african tribal collar (sans beads.) Now that it’s going to get cold out- this is a great trend to wear with fall clothes!

This split collar necklace from Top Shop is only $30. This rounded style is also called a Peter Pan collar. This style was made popular by Louis Vuitton’s accessories line a few seasons ago. Copies of this style can also be found at stores like H&M or Urban Outfitters as well!
